I totally forgot to ask the kids what they were thankful for tonight. It might have something to do with going and going all day today. Well, the morning started with some relaxing, playing, and a little schooling. The kids were a bit bummed that we had to do school on a holiday. They were also bummed that Dada wasn't home and/or awake so that we could go out to dinner. But, as Scott said, "When your not yet a veteran you don't get the day off." He's been working overnights that are at least 17 hours long!
On that note...Scott's thankful for coworkers who look out for him and think they know what's best for him, even if he doesn't listen.
I'm thankful for Scott, his coworkers, other submariners, others in the Navy, others in the Armed Forces, other who've been in the service....thankful for all of them!
